Hands-On Ayurvedic Marma Therapy for Self-Care, Sivananda Ashram Yoga Retreat, Bahamas, November 17 – 19, 2026

Discover the ancient science of Marma Therapy for Self-care—a powerful Ayurvedic healing practice that works directly with the body’s vital energy points to restore balance, vitality, and inner harmony.

Marmas are sacred junctions where muscles, veins, ligaments, bones, and joints converge, and where Prana, the life force, is believed to reside. These points connect the physical body with the subtle energy system, linking the Nadis (energy channels) and Chakras, much like acupressure points in traditional healing systems. When stress, toxins, or unresolved emotions accumulate, these energy centers can become blocked, leading to pain, fatigue, and chronic imbalance.

In this immersive and practical training, you will learn how to activate and clear Marma points using traditional Ayurvedic techniques such as conscious touch, therapeutic oils, warmth, herbal and aromatic applications, and sound vibrations. This hands-on experience empowers you to care for your own energy system and support healing in others.
